Notably, his contributions to the Edinburgh Napier Transport Research Institute UK underscore his commitment to innovation.

Beyond his role as Managing Director, Ahmed is also a part-time PhD candidate at the University College London (UCL) Transport Institute. His research focuses on the dynamic interplay of micro-mobility solutions and stadium access management.

Through his doctoral research, titled “Sustainable Transport Solutions for Stadium Events: Analysing the Impacts of E-Scooter and E-Bike Services in Wembley Park,” Ahmed explores the ecological, societal, and logistical impacts of integrating e-scooters and e-bikes into stadium access landscapes, using Wembley Park as a case study.

Ahmed’s dedication extends beyond professional achievements. At Vision West Nottinghamshire College, he pioneered the Transport Planning Technician Apprenticeship Programme, empowering aspiring transport planners and apprentices across England. His comprehensive training sessions covered critical areas such as Transport Policy, Traffic models, Transport Economics, Demand Management Methodologies, and Road Safety. He also delivered the CMI Leadership and management courses to managers at reputable private and public institutions across England.
